Terms of service

The agreement, without the fog.

Nine sections. Where a clause exists only because a lawyer insisted, we have said so rather than burying it in a subclause.

The agreement

By creating a workspace you agree to these terms. They are between you, or the company you represent, and SentryLLM Labs. If you are signing on behalf of an organisation, you are confirming you have the authority to do that.

We have tried to keep this readable. Where a clause exists because a lawyer insisted, we have left a note saying so.

02

What we provide

Runtime tracing, a detection engine, a policy engine, and a console for reading the results. Availability targets and support response times depend on your plan and are set out in the order form for paid tiers.

The free Observe tier is provided as is, with no availability commitment. It is genuinely free and genuinely unguaranteed. We do not turn it off without notice, but we also do not page anybody at night to keep it up.

03

What you agree to

  • Do not use SentryLLM to trace systems you are not authorised to trace.
  • Do not send us data you are not permitted to process, including special category data you have no lawful basis for.
  • Do not attempt to extract our detection rules through automated probing of the public sandbox. Ask us and we will show you.
  • Keep your credentials to yourself and tell us promptly if you think a session has been compromised.
04

Ownership

Your traces are yours. We claim no licence over them beyond what is needed to run the service you asked for, and that licence ends when you delete the data.

We do not train models on customer content. If that ever changes it would require a new agreement and an explicit opt in, and we cannot imagine the version of this company where we ask.

05

The demo workspace

The shared sandbox account exists so people can look around without a sales call. Its traces are synthetic and it resets nightly. Anything you create in it is visible to anyone else who signs in with the same demo credentials, so do not paste anything real into it.

06

Features marked in the build

Anything the roadmap describes as in the build or queued may change shape, slip, or be removed. We will not remove something you depend on without a conversation, but we are not going to pretend an unshipped feature is a commitment either.

07

Liability

SentryLLM reduces risk. It does not eliminate it, and no detection engine catches everything. You remain responsible for what your agents do.

To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. For the free tier that is zero, which is an uncomfortable sentence to write and an honest one.

This clause exists because a lawyer insisted, and because it is true. A guardrail is not a guarantee.

08

Ending it

You can close a workspace at any time from the console. We can terminate for material breach with 30 days notice, or immediately if the breach is the kind that cannot wait 30 days.

On termination you get 30 days to export. After that the data is deleted and the backups roll off within a further 35 days.

09

Governing law

England and Wales, with the courts of London having exclusive jurisdiction. If you need a different governing law for procurement reasons, raise it during the contract review and we will usually agree.
